As the Campaign Developer you will orchestrate all marketing automation activities within our campaign team. This person is focused on driving campaigns across the customer life cycle (acquire, develop, retain & inspire) in -12 countries. This person will have joint responsibility – together with our customer journey marketeer - in ensuring the successful implementation in Selligent with new / existing triggered journeys. Based on market intelligence, AI and other insights (from the different departments) the right segments can be created and campaigned on.
The other objective is to help us to more efficiently execute our email campaigns and giving directions to our email marketeers. This is done by creating automation in our templates, audiences, recommendations and journeys. Scope includes Triggered Journeys and special Email Campaign features that require deeper technical knowledge. There is a strong focus on Personalization e.g. AI recommendations. Good technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), MySQL are required to set up the right content, for the right customer at the right time.
You will be reporting into the Senior CRM Campaign Manager and will work together with the Email and CRM marketeers on the long-term strategic goal of creating an ‘effective & efficient contact strategy’.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for developing efficient & effective email campaigns
Marketing automation: creating automated templates, audiences, recommendations and journeys
Personalization: focusing on relevance and sending the right message at the right time, to the right customer by means of e.g. AI recommendations
Campaign strategy: supporting strategy for promotional and seasonal HKM campaigns when new features/technologies are needed
Test & Learn: supporting test planning for email
Troubleshooting: making sure operational problems regarding email platform (Selligent) are solved
Coaching & educating our Email marketeers
Always on the lookout for new possibilities & initiatives to improve our campaigns, communication channels and KPIs
We are looking for a tech savvy Campaign/Email marketeer with minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Communication / Business Studies.
At least 3 years working experience in a comparable campaign developer role preferably in the retail industry. Experience with Selligent is a must.
Strong background in email marketing techniques, CSS, HTML, AMP, AI
Experience in building triggered multichannel and multistep journeys and automated templates with dynamic and personalized content blocks
Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
