The Lead Continuity Designer will collaborate closely with the extended lingerie team on seasonal trend collections, requiring flexibility, teamwork, and strong collaboration
The ideal candidate will bring a refined approach to innovation that not only complements but elevates our core collections, pushing them forward while remaining deeply aligned with the Hunkemöller brand identity.
This position reports to the Design Manager supports the development of Junior team members.
What You'll Do:
· Take the strategic direction for our Lingerie Continuity collections and drive it into reality, transforming vision into impactful designs
· Lead product ideation and development from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and innovation across key lines.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Tech, Merchandising team on the execution of the total collection to preserve design intent while responding to market demands.
· Work closely with the Design Manager to align on critical path schedules, collection planning, and team coordination.
· Work closely with garment and fabric vendors - build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring materials and design execution align with our brand values
· Champion reactivity and decision-making across the continuity process.
· Lead design process meetings and product signoffs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and smooth progression through the development stages
What You’ll Bring:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, with a focus on intimates.
· 3+ years’ experience in lingerie or intimate apparel design – bra design expertise is essential.
· Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop); PLM system proficiency is a big bonus.
· 3D design (CLO-3D or similar) experience is a plus.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional communication skills – written, visual, and verbal.
· Guide and support junior designers, fostering growth and design excellence
· A collaborative spirit and a proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work on-site at our Hilversum HQ.
