HR Advisor DC & Stores

Join Hunkemöller as HR Advisor (DC & Stores) to strengthen our team based in our international headquarters in Hilversum.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR business partner looking for variety supporting 2 business units:

You will be the HR business partner for the managers and employees of our Distribution Center which will move from Hilversum to a new high-tech DC in Almere opening in 2024. A once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of this amazing transition! Apart from HR advice for DC, you will play a key role in providing HR advice to our retail stores in The Netherlands, supporting our regional- and store managers.

This dynamic position requires a deep understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse HR needs across different retail environments.

As our new HR Advisor, you will be part of an inspiring& international team. You’ll be driven to continuously grow the capability and HR knowledge of our managers and employees (This currently relates to our DC and Sales Managers including Store employees, but this could grow in time) as well as working on initiatives to create a great place to work. The role requires a result driven individual with a senior HR attitude, who can improve ways of working and increase actual results.

Our perfect candidate is a successful HR professional in a high paced, multi-site environment in the retail industry and/or service industry, preferably within an international setting, managing lots of different stakeholders, tasks, and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with your business partners in DC and Stores to bring teams to a higher level with your highly valued HR advice and coaching.
  • Creating an even better people focus and help building the best teams by being a 100% respected HR business partner.
  • Managing projects and reviewing, developing and implementing initiatives in your accounts based on ambitious KPI’s and Hunkemöller’s strategic plan.
  • Work with your stakeholders to foster a culture of employee engagement and create a positive working environment where empowerment and collaboration are key.
  • Being the HR expert on the labour market, employee relations, development, and support in talent & performance management
  • Using HR metrics and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, and other KPI’s. Use this data to make informed decisions.

The Perfect candidate needs to be a Hunkemöller brand ambassador & fan with…

  • Minimum of 3 years+ experience as an HR Advisor/ HR Business Partner on tactical/strategical level in a multi site business
  • HBO/Bachelors/master’s work level
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
  • 32-40h/week availability
  • Strong conversation partner skills, who is an excellent communicator, feel people perfectly, and coach leaders to live our Hunkemöller values and purpose, whilst being your most beautiful and authentic self.


  • You are a hands-on, inspirational, and empathic HR partner who is energetic and pro-active.
  • Your energy and your ‘can do’ personality is contagious and makes you somebody you want to be around with.
  • The work environment is high paced and therefore you need to be structured, determined, persuasive and an excellent communicator.
