To continue & support our success story, we’re looking for a senior & hands-on Finance Administrations Manager ( m/f) to join our international HQ in Hilversum.

As our Finance Administrations Manager, you'd be responsible for an adequate (efficient and effective) financial administration due to which complete and correct financial reporting can be delivered, timely and based on an adequate internal control framework. In this role, one is also responsible for managing the facilities at the International HQ.

You'd be managing 4 Team Leaders directly and indirectly over 20 persons, divided over 4 Teams.

The Finance Administration represents our international Shared Service Center where the accounting of all Hunkemöller's operations (legal entities) is performed.

Your task would include in more detail:

Internal Control:

  • Responsible for the IC of the FA, together with the Director of Finance
  • Drafts and improves procedures and processes for an adequate FA
  • Drafts and improves procedures and processes to mitigate risks in IC
  • Responsible for adequate division of duties between people and within SAP (financial accounting system)


  • Responsible for initiating new projects with aim to improve adequateness of the FA and it's reporting either by new ways of working, people, IT/applications improvements or cost savings


  • Draft and/or review monthly reporting which is part of the Monthly Financial Closing Process
  • Monitors timeliness, complete and correctness of the MFCP from an accounting perspective
  • Responsible for preparation of audit documentation for our external auditors
  • VAT and Intrastat filings


  • Monitors proper execution of the tasks of the 3 Teams
  • Monitors and improves the following focal points within the FA:
  • Proper liquidity forecasting
  • Managing insurance portfolio
  • Timely receipt of cash
  • Timely payments of lessors and suppliers, maintenance and improvement of lease database
  • Other working capital optimalization and cost savings


  • Managing, coaching, motivating and (formally) assessing 4 Team Leaders
  • (Co-)responsible for recruitment within FA and FM, development of Team members.
  • Monitors cooperation and division of tasks between the 4 Teams
  • Monitors adherence of Team members to our internal Code of Conduct
  • Positioning FA and FM within the organization, cooperation with other departments

For this role we'll require:

  • At least 5 year experience in a managers role and must have experience in managing large teams and Financial Administration
  • Minimal Bachelor degree (HBO) with a focus related to the core of the job
  • Result oriented, analytical strong and eye for detail
  • Good communicator
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Verbally and in writing mastering the English language
  • Knowledge of the German language is a pro
  • Retail experience is a pro
  • Knowledge of SAP and affinity with IT is a pro
