Hunkemöller’s looking for a Global Learning & Development (L&D) Manager who is responsible for leading a team of 4 passionate individuals. The Global Learning & Development team is responsible for all training and talent development activities within Hunkemöller. This concerns store employees as well as employees in our (international) Head offices. As the Global L&D Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping us further build, drive and innovate our learning and development activities. Building on your own expertise and through overseeing Learning & Development programs you will drive employee engagement and increase job satisfaction and productivity. Reporting to the Global HR Director you will work in close collaboration with our Board and senior leadership team, the HR Managers and Managing Directors across all countries. 

 

Over the past years we have worked hard to ensure a high standard in our learning solutions, having an award winning online academy and onboarding program for over 7000 employees across the globe. Next to our online Academy we offer Talent Programs and have a Global Training Ambassador network to provide training on the shop floor. We believe and have seen that happy and engaged people create great results and we will therefore continue to invest in our team and developing internal talent. We always strive to stay ahead of our competition by looking for creative and innovative learning solutions. This is to support our sales employees to deliver World Class Service (WCS) in their stores and to create the perfect employee experience.

  • Identify, analyze and align business requirements and learning needs  

  • Develop a clear vision for Learning & Development at Hunkemöller, and translate this into year plans and budgets  

  • Taking the lead in identifying, designing and role-out of global L&D initiatives 

  • Communicate L&D objectives, content and planning to the HR department and wider business, in order to create commitment to and understanding of learning programs and objectives. 

  • Evaluating the progress of implementation, establishing the effectiveness of learning programs and using gained insights to optimize programs. 

  • Track employee engagement and job satisfaction and measure results of L&D initiatives to continuously improve employee engagement and sales results. 

  • Managing the timelines and quality  of the various projects (in the L&D space and employee engagement).

  • Has experience with managing a team  

  • Has considerable experience working in the Learning & Development space 

  • Has strong communication skills: verbal and in writing. 

  • Is fluent in English: verbal and in writing. 

  • Is pro-active and has a ‘get things done’ mentality. 

  • Enjoys building relationships across all layers in the organization 

  • Is able to combine a more strategic point of view with a hands-on mentality 

  • Is passionate about excellent World Class Service 

  • Feels comfortable presenting to a group. 

  • Is result oriented and report driven. 

  • Is structured and has great project management skills 

  • Identifies with the HKM core values and our Shero.
