Hunkemöller’s looking for a Global Training & Development Specialist for our Learning & Development department. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring our teams in stores are set up for success to deliver World Class Service (WCS) to our customers. You will do this by, amongst others, train the trainers in our countries and facilitating classroom or virtual trainings for store employees.  This is a role in which you will be in close contact with the HR Managers, Managing Directors and Regional Managers across all countries. The Global Learning & Development team is responsible for all training activities within Hunkemöller. this concerns store employees as well as employees in our Head offices.

Over the past years we have worked hard to ensure a high standard in our learning solutions, having an award winning online academy and onboarding program for over 7000 employees across the globe. We always strive to stay ahead of our competition by looking for creative and innovative learning solutions. This to support our sales employees to deliver World Class Service (WCS) in their stores and to create the perfect employee experience.

  • Responsible for our Global Training Ambassador Network. This is our network of store employees who train our teams on the shop floor to ensure World Class Service across our stores. Responsibilities are: 
    • Designing and facilitating a train the trainer training (twice a year) to certify all training ambassadors with the objective to provide WCS
    • Brief the training ambassadors on a monthly basis according to the business needs
    • Provide guidance and inspiration to the training ambassadors on how to train in store
    • Managing the quality & effectiveness of training provided in stores and take actions accordingly
  • Content creation of new trainings: video scripts , e-learning modules and classroom trainings: assessing the business need, the current situation and developing training content
  • Designing and facilitating classroom or virtual training sessions for store employees (e.g. talent programs, train to train trainings, and certifying the training ambassadors)
  • Supporting (new) countries and challenging markets when it comes to providing WCS in stores
  • Working with and interpreting reports and KPI’s
  • Translating the messages from our Buying & Design team to the language of our store employees
  • Managing the timelines and quality of the various projects.
