Workday Application Manager

Hunkemöller is looking for Workday Application Managers (sr/jr). This is a key role ensuring the efficient usage & continuous improvement of our global HR system Workday, which is accessible to over 7000 employees worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

As our Workday Application Expert, you’ll be the ‘go-to-person’ for all Workday application related matters and will coordinate between IT, HR, Finance, AMS partner and internal customers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of the Workday system and manage incidents; at the same time run change sprints with our global HR teams. You are fully in touch with the Workday community and follow new releases wanting to implement these based on our needs.

In detail, a part of your tasks will be:

  • Collaborating with IT, HR, and Finance colleagues to identify solutions or to meet new business requests. 
  • Implementing functional changes
  • Continuously work on business process improvements
  • Process EIB loads
  • Analyze and improve data quality
  • Configure and maintain security
  • Build and monitor integrations
  • Build and maintain reports and report dashboards
  • Resolve application issues and incidents
  • Responsibility for managing application performance and new releases

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 3+ years of Workday configuration experience
  • Good understanding of all Workday modules in general; HCM, Recruitment, Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required. English fluency is mandatory
  • Able to manage different priorities and are used to structure them via a ticket system - JIRA or related experience will be a plus
  • Able to operate in a very fast-paced working environment
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Able to think critically with strong investigative skills 
  • Able to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards
